I’ll forget you, I will

On the metro coming home this evening, a young woman had on a t-shirt, kinda vintage looking and it said “If you love him, let him go” – and my heart replied, internally, “I do.. I did.. and he never came back.” And then my brain told my heart to shut the hell up, and then my heart told my brain to fuck off and not to tell it how to feel. And my fingers flicked the forward button on the iPod remote and “Lush Life” came on and then continued to reward me with high BPM dance tunes all the way home.

Stupid cliches on t-shirts. Ok, the moment was a lot more emotional than that, but anyway.

Now trying to last through a dvd of The Tick tv series.. I think this will be going back really soon. Patrick Warburton’s a hottie and those blue contacts are mesmerizing, but wow.. um, this is bad.

  1. Which version of Lush Life? Johnny Hartman? The best. And letting go and moving on’s a bitch when the love hasn’t left your heart.
