but I’ve nothing to wear on public transport!

I figured it was only a matter of time before they caught onto to increasing the power of their mapping/directions system to something that will benefit people who don’t drive all the time (or at all). I would love to see DC participate in this, especially since the WMATA Trip Planner is plagued with ColdFusion errors lately making it rather difficult to use.
I used to use MetrO for my PDA, a very good program that helped me get around on my own in Philly and San Francisco as well as figuring out how to get to some new places in DC. But no PDA anymore… 🙁
It’d just be nice if someone could do more web-based/mobile support for getting where you need to go. As has been remarked by many, the bus system in DC is often very good for getting you from point A to point B at a certain time… then from point B back to point A at some undetermined time, and if you find yourself at point C or D? Take a cab home.
