I admit it, I’m a big ‘mo
When I look at the picture of Tom/Katie/Suri on the cover Vanity Fair, all I can think is that Suzanne Sugarbaker came by the house before the pictures and gave the parents a baby wig to slap on that child. I don’t know all that much about early development of children, but that looks like a lotta hair and just oh so perfectly hipster for such a young girl. Cute kid tho, I dunno about that bronzed crap stuff, but definitely a cute kid.
I’m also a little disturbed that I haven’t seen a single episode of Designing Women in years, yet the more I think about it, the more moments come rushing back to my memory with crystal clarity. Golden Girls? Nada. But Julia, Suzanne, Mary Jo and Charlene — front of the line.
And if anyone even thinks about echoing Bernice’s most remembered line in a comment, I will shoot you dead.
My God youre right! Its a big old baby wig! The things they sell these days!!
Must. Resist. Temptation. To. Say. It. *hums it*
What disturbs me deeply about the photo is the arch, knowing look in the child’s eyes. Babies ought to have a look of wide-eyed wonder or even confusion on their faces. Is anyone else thinking “Damien”?
