I feel WAY behind the curve on this one

I’m behaving when it comes to lunch, especially considering that we still have limited access to our building’s atrium after a window broke and fell from the 5th floor. So this morning I’m bringing in my yogurt and a frozen healthy choice meal, and when I actually remembered to put them into the fridge and freezer I was confronted with the following product…

Jimmy Dean - Pancakes & Sausage on a Stick

Thankfully the one I saw was the original flavor, because I stared at it, for a good long time, kinda in disbelief. Had it actually been chocolate chip I might have lapsed into a prolonged stupor.

I think I can feel my arteries hardening just thinking about them, ew…

So wrong and so gross… I’ve never heard of this perversity until now, but then again I don’t eat Jimmy Dean products. I’m sure it’s absolutely addicting (like all processed food is).

Yeah, my roommate has been seen eating these. I don’t know what to make of it…the whole idea just grosses me out.

I’ve actually eaten the original variety before (until I read the nutrition label) and while the idea isn’t bad, they use a bit too much syrup so it’s sickeningly sweet. Maybe if they made one that had no syrup in it, it would be better.

I think I’d die of a sugar overdose if I ate the chocolate chip variety.

What is it with the stickification of food lately?

OMG, this reminds me of being at the beach this weekend: the first place we went for b’fast had bacon pancakes on the menu. As in, pancake batter with bacon crumbled up into it and then cooked. Eww, eww, eww.

Isn’t this the idea behind the McGriddle? Not that uh, not that this would alleviate the grossness of the Jimmy Dean concept. Hmm.
