It serves 125, takes eight hours to cook and is stuffed with 12 different birds … now that really IS a Christmas dinner. From the Daily Mail comes a story about the True Love Roast, a bird for each of the 12 days of Christmas.
I think the Turducken has officially been put out to pasture.
Speaking of birds, I’ll be heading to Two Quail this evening after heading out to view the National Tree. I’ve never heard of it, though it’s supposed to be a nice place, even if reviews are, well… terrible. Even so, it’ll be a nice evening. Tomorrow will be packing, cleaning, chores, maybe a little DDR if I have time, but it’s all about prep for the family visit this Sunday.
So how was Two Quail? In all the years I lived next door to the place, I never once tried it.
