Shout out to anyone that’s going through it and already knows, come Monday morning, that this week won’t be much better.

It was a pretty good weekend, I got to spend time with a friend and one of our brunch mainstays added a new all you can eat (time limited) Dim Sum style option, so we enjoyed good food and conversation.

Can you blame me for delaying and playing the odds?

On Sunday since I’d already spent for one brunch, I decided to head to the grocery store and got ingredients to make a jambon-beurre instead of grabbing the usual pre-made deli sub along with a bottle of Prosecco and felt very fancy for doing so. However I refrained from treating myself until after I’d done my taxes.

Let’s see what the week ahead has in store for us. I’m only on one cup of coffee so far, let’s see if that’s enough for today. 💖
