farewell, ma manager

I really, really hate that my boss is leaving. Today we threw her a going away party, and tomorrow she’s throwing one for us. I’m going to really miss her. It’s not often you feel that you have a manager that really understands you and your situation and is really looking out for you. (can I use the word really any more today?)

I got some new tech toys today, a KVM switch so I can control two of my PCs with one keyboard/mouse, etc. And a power strip which I gotta admit I bought only ‘cos it was on sale and it looked CUTE.

Tonight’s dinner, leftover shrimp fried rice.. Exciting. Talked to DaveQat online today. He’s been in my thoughts a lot lately, I don’t know if it’s just caring for his situation or something more.
