so flexible I can kiss my own arse

For all the stress the office contains, I will take a moment to toot my own horn. It’s always the least important jobs that seem to mean the most to people around here. I turned around a document out of “scratch” for a customer on a high profile site and they were appreciative and it sorta moved up the ladder via e-mail cc’s…

Thanks for that quick service bringing up the cross reference page from scratch. I certainly didn’t expect that level of service over a holiday weekend.

The credit for getting the work down [done] so quickly goes to Brian on our Web team. Brian has been the lead for SAFETEA-LU and is doing a fantastic job.

From my Project Manager

Brian,

Thank you for rapidly implementing the various pages and leading the SAFETEA-LU tasking effort. I sincerely appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and approach taken to provide meaningful and timely support and for going the extra mile for this customer.

Congratulations and keep up the great work!

The task wasn’t really all that hard to do, and frankly the short “high priority” tasks are a nice break from our longer dull & boring jobs, still it’s nice to be noticed and acknowledged.
