Oh yeah, you betcha!

This is the last day before my friend & co-worker Betsy goes out for her maternity leave or some such thing, it sounds made up to me. While she’s out, I’m once again in charge of the team for a few months.

A co-worker over the wall told me this morning that I was up to the job, “Just like Sarah Palin’s up to the job of stepping into the presidency!” After my jaw dropped and I stared at him for a few seconds, he recanted the statement acknowledging that maybe that wasn’t the best thing to say.

I’m chalking it up to the lack of caffeine… or the fact that he’s an idiot. But it’s probably the caffeine. 🙄 It has, however, encouraged me to talk like Marge Gunderson for the rest of the day.
