food: I’m in love!
So ok, I’m not making a big fuss about today, really… I’m not. I was happy to chill out at home, enjoying the weekend and doing some chores, no big deal. Mo’Bo*, however, had other ideas and decided to make me a wonderful dinner. So wonderful in fact that he couldn’t even wait until dinnertime to serve it! He really knows the way to my heart.
I’m sure that my coupled friends are doing something appropriately romantic today… or not. What about my single buddies? Is today a bitter brooding one or empowering a la Single Awareness? In any case, I’m glad for the 3-day weekend. I get to see some friends, not feel like a total hermit and then have an extra day to myself to relax. 
The rest of the cognoscenti are fully aware that Valentine’s Day is a joke. I’m writing a play for the Zombie Bake-Off tomorrow and the Mr. is on the couch reading a book about Pink Floyd. If you can’t be with the one you love, honey, love the one you are.
Wow that steak looks good. My mouth is watering now…
Now I know what to make for dinner on Sunday!
It was just another day for me, my Mo’Bo cooked me a beef pot roast in the crockpot and we went to Borders and browsed books. How much more romantic can you get?
I simply called it an un-Valentine’s Day for myself and wished a happy un-Valentine’s day to a lonely friend. I just tried to be in denial about Valentine’s Day in general.
