These days, I wish it were that simple. With what’s going on in the world, I sort of wish I had more moments I could just relax and settle into this kind of vibe.

It’s been 7 years since my first round of cancer treatments was finished, my cancer-versary. It only sort of counts since I did have to go back for a second set of treatments for another site, but that gets its own cancer-versary… mostly because I enjoy celebrating things.
“I was doing so well until the rains came…” sounds more like the start of a Young Adult genre novel than a commentary on my current mood, but it’s true.
No gadget failing has given me a moral dilemma quite like this. My Fitbit is failing and likely dead and I am oddly torn about whether I need to replace it or if I’ve finally outgrown it.
I’m slowly coming out of a major funk, but I still think I’m a horrible person. It’s sometimes really difficult to reconcile those things.
Woke up on Sunday, a little motivated. By the end of the day I had taken care of myself, treated myself, and joined a demonstration outside the White House because this is not normal.
